BIO
Born and raised in the Moy Hall district of Montego Bay, Jamaica, Hezron Clarke discovered his musical gift early as an active member of his church choir. Surrounded by family and community members who recognized his talent, he developed a strong foundation in soulful, heartfelt singing long before stepping onto the professional stage.

After migrating to the United States in the mid-1990s, Hezron began recording as an R&B artist, eventually working with Def Jam and expanding his vocal versatility. But despite success in that genre, he felt a deep pull back to the music of his homeland. Reggae—its message, its rhythm, its spirit—was his true calling.

Driven by this purpose, Hezron returned to Jamaica to pursue reggae at its source. In 2008, he recorded “So In Love” with legendary producer Bobby Digital—a breakout track that immediately caught the attention of reggae fans worldwide. This momentum propelled him into a powerful run of releases that showcased his unique blend of reggae, R&B, and soul.

With hit collaborations featuring Shaggy, Beenie Man, and Busy Signal—just to name a few—and a string of international chart-topping reggae anthems including So In Love, Can’t Come Between, Taxi Driver, Save The Children, and Man On A Mission, Hezron has firmly established himself as a powerhouse Jamaican singer, songwriter, and musician.

Today, Hezron stands as one of Jamaica’s most respected contemporary reggae voices—known for rich, resonant vocals, conscious storytelling, and a timeless sound. His music both honors the roots of reggae and pushes it forward for a new generation, staying true to the heart and soul of Jamaica.
